Can students take courses in multiple disciplines?
Due to the demanding curriculum, students will only have time for one artistic discipline.
How does the audition process work being a Public Charter School?
The auditions are for placement purposes only. It helps us to plan instruction for differing levels in each artistic group. The audition also prepares a student for what to expect at the school.
Are there transportation options?
GSCA does not include transportation. Parents are encouraged to carpool, and older students will be allowed to park on site.
What will school hours be?
Approximately 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Will there be any type of parent or volunteer type program associated with the school?
Definitely. Parent involvement will be key to the school’s and their student’s success.
How many jobs will be created, and how can people apply?
There will be about 40 full time positions. Interested applicants will be able to apply on our website; keep an eye out for updates.
Will there be a theater/stage on site for performances and practice?
There will be performance and rehearsal spaces available. Performances may also take place at offsite locations with our community partners.

For the 2025-2026 school year!
What will be the student to teacher ratio?
Academic classes will be no more than 20:1. Artistic classes will vary in size, as ensembles will have a larger amount of students per class.
Are you planning to have any community partnerships with local arts organizations?
Community engagement and partnerships are a core principle of GSCA. Ongoing relationships will be formed for each artistic department.
Will you offer Honors and AP level courses?
Yes, although Advanced Placement courses cannot be offered in a school’s first year. Any deficiencies in curriculum will be met through virtual learning, such as VirtualSC.
What does it cost to attended?
Charter schools are public schools and are tuition-free.
